Aluminium windows in Surrey
Aluminium windows give you the slimmest frames and the most glass, with a sharp, modern finish that stays looking good for years and needs very little looking after.
We supply and fit aluminium windows across Surrey from leading branded systems, including Smart's Alitherm 300 and Origin's OW70 and OW80. Every window is made to measure and installed by our own experienced fitters.
Aluminium is strong enough to carry large panes in a slim frame, so more light comes in, and modern frames are thermally broken to keep the heat inside. Choose any RAL colour, with a leaded detail for a period look or clean, unbroken glass for a contemporary one.
We are FENSA registered, and every installation we notify to FENSA is covered by an insurance-backed guarantee.

About aluminium windows
Why choose aluminium?
Aluminium is strong, so a frame can be much slimmer than uPVC for the same size of window, which means more glass and more light. It does not rust, warp or need painting, and the powder coated finish is available in any RAL colour. Modern aluminium windows are thermally broken, with an insulating barrier through the middle of the frame that stops heat escaping through the metal.
Aluminium, uPVC or timber?
Aluminium suits modern homes, large openings and anyone who wants the slimmest frames. uPVC usually costs less, and timber suits period and listed homes. There is a fuller comparison in the most popular window materials.
The systems we fit
We fit Smart Alitherm 300 and Origin OW70 and OW80, as casements, fixed lights with transoms, and in bay windows. Each is made to measure and can be finished with a leaded detail for a period look or left plain for a modern one.
Frequently asked questions
Are aluminium windows better than uPVC?
They are slimmer and stronger, so they carry more glass and suit a modern look or a large opening, and they come in any RAL colour. uPVC usually costs less. Both can be made to meet today's energy standards, so it comes down to the look you want and your budget, and we are happy to quote for both.
Do aluminium windows need much maintenance?
Very little. The powder coated finish does not need painting, so an occasional wash of the frames, keeping the drainage slots clear and a drop of oil on the hinges and locks is all they ask.
