Skyway Windows Ltd

Privacy Policy

Skyway Windows Ltd respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.

Last updated 12 August 2026.

Who we are

Skyway Windows Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 13473047, at 9 Farmstead House, South View, Epsom, Surrey, KT19 7LB.

To contact us about this policy or about your personal information, call 01372 454 321 or email sales@skywaywindows.co.uk.

What we collect and why

The only way this website collects personal information is through our enquiry forms. Depending on which form you use, we ask for your name, your phone number, and optionally your email address, your postcode, the type of work you are interested in, and any message you choose to write.

We use that information for one purpose, which is to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to quote for and carry out the work. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell it or share it for marketing.

Our lawful basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and where that does not apply, our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services.

We do not add you to a marketing list from a website enquiry, and this site has no marketing sign-up.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files that a website asks your browser to store. The only cookies this site uses are for website analytics, and they are used only if you agree to them.

We do not set any analytics cookies unless you consent. If you decline, or if you simply ignore the request, nothing is stored and your visit is not measured. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the cookies for this site in your browser settings.

Where you do consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is performing as a whole, for example which pages people visit, how they found us and how long they stay. We use it to improve the website. We do not use it to identify you personally, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with the details you send us through an enquiry form.

Google processes that information on our behalf and may transfer it outside the UK, protected by the safeguards required under UK data protection law. Google explain their own handling of it at policies.google.com/privacy. Analytics records are kept for no longer than 14 months.

There are no advertising cookies, no social media trackers and no embedded third-party content on this site.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and receive enquiries. They only process your information on our instructions.

Our website is hosted by Vercel. Enquiry forms are delivered by Web3Forms, which passes the contents of your enquiry to us by email. Our email is provided by IONOS. Where you consent to analytics, Google provides that measurement. Some of these providers operate outside the UK, and where information is transferred abroad it is protected by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.

We may also share your information where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for up to two years, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Where we carry out work, we keep the customer record for six years after the end of the job, which covers our guarantee obligations, FENSA registration and tax records. Website analytics records, where you have consented to them, are kept for no longer than 14 months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it to someone else. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or call their helpline on 0303 123 1113.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. This website is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiries are transmitted securely to us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
